2024 - 2025 Graduation Requirements

For those students who entered the Financial Mathematics program in Fall 2024, degree requirements are as follows:

Units for Degree Completion: 1250

• Foundations Courses - 350 units
  • FINM 34000 - Probability and Stochastic Processes
  • FINM 32500 - Computing for Finance in Python
  • FINM 33000 - Option Pricing
  • FINM 36700 - Portfolio and Risk Management
     
• Elective Courses - 900 units
  Any FinMath courses taken in excess of Foundations count towards Electives. At least 600 elective units taken by MSFM students must be strictly from FINM courses.
