Leo Aparisi de Lannoy is a Ph.D. student in the Joint Program in Financial Economics at the University of Chicago. His research lies at the intersection between finance and macroeconomics. In particular, he is exploring the interaction between fiscal and monetary policy and its consequences for inflation.

Leo has previously taught graduate and EMBA classes at the University of Chicago, on topics related to monetary economics, macro-econometrics, and financial crises. He has been the recipient of the 2019 Martin and Margaret Lee Prize for the best performance in macroeconomics.
