In preparation for graduation, Financial Mathematics students should be aware of the following requirements:
Full-time international students must complete the degree in five consecutive quarters. Part-time students have up to four years to complete the degree.
The Financial Mathematics Program requires a grade of ‘C minus’ or higher in each core course for graduation. Additionally, those who do not pass the computer programming placement exam must successfully complete Computing for Finance in C++. Those who do not pass the Introduction to Finance and Markets placement exam must successfully complete the Introduction to Finance and Markets course.
Those with a restriction on their student account will not be allowed to graduate. Please visit the Registrar's Convocation webpage for more information.
